Here is a simple Garlic Basil Pesto.

Ingredients

  • 4 garlic cloves finely chopped
  • -2 cups basil leaves, packed
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup pine nuts or walnuts, lightly toasted

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients in a food processor.
  2. Cover and blend on medium speed for about 1 minute.
  3. Be sure to scrape the sides and blend another minute or until smooth.
    This would be great with pasta or on Bruschetta. You could also freeze your pesto.
